My kids favourite part of summer is s’mores. The last couple years have been filled with fire restrictions and bans which really cuts into roasting of any kind. Pillsbury put out ready to bake marshmallow cookies this year and I knew just what they would be perfect for!!
Things needed:
-pillsbury ready to bake marshmallow cookies
-chocolate sauce/ fudge/ melts chocolate of any kind (we made ours from a Pinterest recipe)
-mouths to feed
I baked the cookies the night before and put them away in the fridge. Before supper I made the chocolate sauce and dipped or iced the cookies but when we do it again I will give the sauce longer to cool as it made the cookies a bit too mushy for my taste buds. Put in the fridge or freezer to harden. Take out and enjoy!
We had so much fun! While they are not traditional s’mores they definitely are going to get us through some much needed camping cravings!
